Yesterday I put my ‘For Sale By Owner’ (aka: FSBO, say ‘Fizzbo’) sign and put the flyers in the flyer box. Some are gone but I need more signs up…I have them but I haven’t put them out yet. Getting to that.
Talked to the broker for the boat I listed the URL for, the powered sailer. Turns out it has some damage to the gunnel on the port side, broker thinks it would cost about $10K to fix but the boat is sailable without repairing it. They have lowered the price to $50K (from $60K). If I offered $40K or $45K, that would leave me some room to buy and install a 30 mile radar (a must have!).
We will see, I might not do anything but drive around the country aimlessly for a year or two.
Meanwhile I’m getting stuff sold and cleaned and spruced up. Going to have another garage sale this weekend (July 4th).
