I made another trip to Pioneer Park a couple weeks ago, there were lots of things going on, excluding the Governor resigning office. I wander around and checked things out in the areas where Sarah Palin and her fans weren’t the last time I was here. Apparently, according to the paper, there were 5-6,000 people here to cheer or jeer her decision to resign. I haven’t ever thought much about her so wasn’t interested in watching her vacate her elected office with nearly 17 months left in her term. Quitter. This time there was a 1-lunger engine chugging along so I got a picture of that. I’ll get it up when this program lets me.
Meanwhile, I have been spending lots of time here at the check in desk at the RV park. We have had some excitement the last few days. One night at 11:30pm, some people drove into the park while they were arguing with each other. Someone called the police, one of the residents here, and they all piled into a van and sped off with the cop in pursuit. They were roaring around the park, on our gravel roads, in the middle of the night, drunk, trying to evade the cop. Eventually, they got their van stuck in the deep gravel we have down by the pond. All four of them were arrested for public intoxication, and the driver for evading.
After all that went down, I got home and went to bed. Missed all the excitement.
Drunk + gravel = no escape!
For once, Dude, you weren’t in the right place at the right time.
