Maybe you all aren’t interested in ancient art, too bad. It’s my blog and I’ll post art if I want to.
A little more ancient Chinese art.
Well, I think it’s cool. Some of it is pretty unique too.
OK, so that’s most of the really good shots (or really good works of art). Then, after about six hours of wandering around the museum, it’s off to Pioneer Park and a coffee. Oh, yeah, Portland has 400 or so street food carts and I had a really good (and huge) burrito at one.
And there is Riverfront park. That’s the Willamette River, looking east. Ten-eleven years ago when the river was flooding, the water would have breached the fence along the top of the river wall had not thousands of volunteers built a sand bag reinforced wall on top.
I love reading your blog. Keep it coming. I’m an RVer too…2002 32 ft. Itasca Suncruiser. Just got a tow car, a 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Leaving for Brandon, OR in about a week.
Bandon is a nice little town. They use to have a cafe there on the docks where you could get the most delicious chicken soup with these home made noodles that were incredibly good! But I usually only pass through Bandon on my way to Brookings. I love that town even more. Excellent weather, even in the middle of winter.
