Ya gonna add propane fumigation to the new rig?
I really doubt it, Alex.
In the case of my Bounder, where the engine was only 190 HP, pushing 23,000 lbs, it needed extra oomph. That engine was pushing 121 lbs/ horse.
With the Winnie, it’s 330 HP pushing 28000 lbs, so that’s only 85 lbs/ horse. Well under the recommended 100 lbs/1 HP max. My road test up into the hills a couple weeks ago showed I have plenty of power to top the typical grade at 55 MPH.
I did remove the control, gages, tubing, and gas solenoid from the Bounder so I still have the injection kit. I’m probably going to add an exhaust temp sensor, and improve my design of the grade detector, and then sell it to an experimenter. After full disclosure of course.
Hey Jim,
I’m writing an article about fulltime RV finances. I’m interviewing experts on fulltime RVing. I would love to interview you if you’re interested!
Thank you!!!
