Housekeeping…

I’ve spent several hours the last three days trying to make organizational sense out of the “RV Repair Section” of my blog. I have been aware of the poor organization of that section for quite a while and finally decided to do something about it. I finished up a while ago with the major categorizing and think it’s ready to be introduced. This should make it much easier for my readers to navigate around when looking for specific RV repair topics. I do have a little more cleanup to do, but it’s minor stuff.

Check it out by either clicking “RV Repair Section” above in the Banner or just hovering your mouse cursor over it. That will show several categories that you can click on and navigate to a particular Table of Contents page or directly to individual categories.

Or if you don’t like to hover, just click here: RV Repair Section

For those of you who don’t visit this blog for the RV repair info, here’s a picture of “The Dying Gaul”, one of my favorite ancient sculptures…

The Dying GaulAnd here’s a picture I took in PV, Mexico along the malecon back in 2011…

Nice looking beach town. 4 years ago- think it still looks like that? In the past I was to border towns but no beach towns. Not since a passport is needed. And heard comments that PV is a old resort. With nice water, decent people, who cares?

PV has lots of nice areas. I’ve wandered all over downtown and stayed at an in-town RV park. I’ve been there since and that area looked the same. But PV isn’t my favorite place on the Pacific coast…that’s Mazatlan for me.

Met a Canadian couple at Henderson’s Line Up in Grants Pass 10 days ago, in a Beaver Coach almost identical to ours, and they were headed south to P.Vallarta. They’ve been snowbirding there for years with friends, but this was their first trip in their own new-to-them coach. I looked at the map later and, Man, that’s a long way down south! Another Canadian couple there in one of the bigger diesels were headed that direction also, towing a tall, 10k+ trailer in which hid their small car and gosh knows what else. Reckon its the time of year to meet southbound Canadians, Ay?

Wow. Crazy people towing a 10K trailer. They really don’t need all that stuff if they’d think about it, I’d wager. Well, I hope they all have a good time down there. I’m going down myself in a couple weeks. Maybe Maz eventually, but I’ll start in Puerto Penasco. Think I’ll stay there a month.

Hey, Haf, why don’t you guys come down too?
